It has always been a strong belief that investing in our community is as important as investing (and indeed is another way to invest) in the people within the company. Park Derochie regularly contributes to numerous sectors including: School programs, Youth Sports, Health Foundations, Charities and Community programs. We firmly believe that supporting Health, Wellness and Education builds stronger, healthier individuals who in turn ‘pay it forward’, creating stronger communities. We consider these donations and sponsorships, not an obligation, but a privilege.

Park Derochie Employees have followed the companys’ philanthropic example; the Park Derochie Community Action Committee supports the well-being of Park Derochie employees and the surrounding community in Alberta. The mandate of the Committee is to provide financial and/or human resources to deserving local organizations, oversee the Park Derochie education bursaries, the employee emergency assistance fund, and assist with the Park Derochie Health and Wellness Program as needed.  This committee is funded by the annual Merle Derochie Invitational Golf Tournament, an event that is generously supported by Park Derochie suppliers, Employees and Park Derochie Corporate.
