Park Derochie is proud to support the Archbishop Jordan (ABJ) Robotics team this year as they head to Kentucky to compete in the 2017 VEX World Robotics Competition.
Each year VEX Robotics’ Challenges give students new engineering tasks to complete; inspiring students to become involved in STEM‑based (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) careers. With over 16,000 teams, and more than 1,300 competitions held around the world, it is a great accomplishment for the ABJ Robotics team to finish in the top 3% and be invited to Worlds this month.
ABJ’s student-driven, teacher-supervised, Robotics Engineering program inspires students to become creative problem solvers, using algorithmic thinking to find solutions to engineering problems. It fosters well‑rounded life capabilities including self‑confidence, communication, and leadership. While working collaboratively, friendships are built as the team strives to achieve excellence.
We are proud to support the ABJ Robotics team as they representing some of the brightest young minds in the world.
Good Luck in Kentucky!
