What You'll Do

  • Support the development and implementation of project-specific quality plans, ensuring alignment with company procedures and client requirements
  • Assist with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and project quality documentation to support Operations
  • Review QC reports and documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and QMS requirements
  • Perform routine audits of project documentation and support audit readiness (internal and external)
  • Support AMPP QP program requirements, including acting as backup for QCS responsibilities when required
  • Coordinate and support closure of non-conformances, corrective actions, and audit findings
  • Support project teams in resolving quality-related issues and maintaining compliance with specifications
  • Assist with prequalification submissions by gathering and organizing quality-related information
  • Promote quality awareness and support consistent execution of QA/QC processes across projects
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of QMS procedures, tools, and reporting
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project execution and quality management activities, as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager

What You Need to Have

  • 5+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or construction (industrial coatings preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial coating standards (AMPP, SSPC, ASTM, CSA)
  • AMPP CIP certification
  • QCS certification or ability to obtain
  • Experience with QC documentation, inspections, and reporting processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (NCRs, RFIs, reporting)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting, tracking, and documentation
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and support cross-functional coordination
