What You'll Do
- Set up jobs, develop work orders, and coordinate meetings with Operations Superintendent post-award
- Work closely with Park Derochie Team to achieve sales growth and develop a sales plan
- Prioritize and plan work activities, ensuring efficiency, resource planning, and realistic action plans
- Track job costs, implement cost-saving measures, and align work with strategic goals for project profitability
- Participate in project handoff and start-up planning for awarded projects, ensuring a full understanding of project execution
- Prepare estimates, analyze specification and drawings, and utilize software tools for professional organization
- Perform additional assignments as directed, ensuring timely resolution of preventative and corrective actions
- Review and maintain project/site quality documentation, inspect workmanship, and organize bid files
- Facilitate documentation for safety, quality, schedule, equipment, materials, and time and billing requirements
What You Need to Have
- 2+ years of Industrial Coatings/Project Estimating and some Project Management experience preferred (additional training will be provided)
- NACE Level 1 Certification is preferred
- Experience or technical education in the following industries: Food & Beverage, Automotive, Nuclear, Marine, Oil & Gas, and other industrial sectors
- Business Development experience in Ontario an asset
- Must have experience with estimating software and MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Willingness to travel as needed to support the job
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a commitment to service excellence for the client
