Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department Project Manager/Estimators to meet estimate/project needs.
- Receiving the necessary drawings from the clients, then determining the fireproofing requirements.
- Monitor progress, scheduling, and quantity tracking.
- Progress tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate work in shop/project and interface with clients.
- Data entry in database or spread sheets.
- Prepare estimates, analyze specifications and drawings, and utilize software tools for professional organization.
- Conduct quantity take-off and pricing, engaging with customers during bidding, proposal writing, and bid closeout.
- Perform additional assignments as directed, ensuring timely resolution of preventative and corrective actions.
- Review and maintain project/site quality documentation, inspect workmanship, and organize bid files.
- Facilitate documentation for safety, quality, schedule, equipment, materials, and time and billing requirements.
- Managing shipments and issuing work packages for the shop.
- Performing quantity surveys.
Requirements
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Written communication skills.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a commitment to service excellence for the client.
