Mosaic Stadium
This project was notably challenging as our skilled painters worked at heights of 56 meters above ground with no scaffolding. They navigated the 6” to 8” steel beams on a roof structure composed of 56 distinctly shaped roof trusses, creating a complex and elegant undulating form.
Wins + Challenges
- Height and Safety: Our team faced the difficulty of working at significant heights without scaffolding, requiring precise and careful movement.
- Weather Conditions: The project demanded perseverance through varied weather conditions, including wind, rain, and hot summer temperatures.
- Complex Structure: The unique architecture of the roof required meticulous attention to detail and exceptional skill.
Despite these challenges, the project was a historic achievement. This new $280 million facility, which would host 33,000 Saskatchewan Roughriders fans, stands as a testament to Park Derochie’s expertise. Every Park Derochie employee feels a sense of pride when visiting the stadium, knowing they contributed to its construction.
Additional Information:
